Fall is bringing a few opportunities to come together and make a difference right here at home. From helping stock local food pantries to clearing out old documents and recyclable items, we’re proud to support some upcoming efforts that make an impact beyond banking.

Food Drive | September 28 – October 9

Help us support local families by donating to our upcoming Food Drive! Donations will benefit Westminster Community Food Pantry on the west side and Smith Food Pantry on the east side.

We’ll be collecting donations at both of our locations:

Euclid Branch: 1199 S. Euclid Ave., Bay City | Center Branch: 2601 Center Ave., Bay City

Items needed include non-perishable foods, boxed and canned goods, household essentials such as laundry and dish soap, and personal care items including toilet paper and hygiene products.

Food Distribution | Monday, October 12

We’ll also be partnering with United Way for a food distribution at our Euclid Branch to help local families in need. The distribution will begin around 2:00 PM, with vehicles lining up along W. Ionia Ave.

Bay City Fall Recycling Event | Saturday, October 17

Ready to clear out some clutter before winter? Join the City of Bay City for its annual Fall Recycling Event:

FinancialEdge is proud to sponsor the shred truck for the event! Bring eligible paper documents for secure shredding, with a limit of four boxes per customer. Paper, file folders, catalogues, and magazines can be shredded; three-ring binders, wood, metal, and wet documents cannot be accepted.

The event will also accept a variety of recyclable items, including electronic waste, cardboard, scrap metal, certain appliances, batteries, fluorescent lights, and more.
